Ataulfo mango is a small sweet creamy Mexican variety. It is oblong and has a golden yellow blush. Sweet tart tasting with peachy aroma. It was created in Chiapas, Mexico crosses between Spanish and Manila varieties. This mango is super popular for smoothies and desserts due to its creaminess. Many in the US know it as "Honey Mango" but we prefer to keep the name Ataulfo to pay hommage to it's origin.

They are grafted onto Turpentine stock which makes them unbelievably hardy and resilient even in waterlogged conditions. Those strong roots carry water and nutrients to the mature mango genes in the scion that we grab from our producer trees.
